The Chastain Park community is building a world-class natural playground right in the heart of Metro Atlanta. Creating such an innovative space to serve thousands of children of all interests and abilities is a Herculean task, but the community is up to the task. Our children and your children deserve nothing less. Join us.
The Master Plan mandate for a "world-class" playground has expanded our thinking.
Over the past 18 months we have held town hall meetings, an extensive online survey, and a 3 day exhibit. We have analyzed your requests, your concerns, your hopes and wishes. We have listened to the children and captured their dreams. We have incorporated all of this information into a playground design that will be unveiled at the playground on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 10 until noon. We hope you'll join us. We hope you'll contribute. We hope you'll volunteer, and we hope you will bring your children and grandchildren out to play.
